Sonaura receives additional investment from Eurazeo following Strong Commercial Traction and Pipeline Growth

Sonaura Management Team April

Sonaura, a leading developer of offsite renewable energy private wire solutions, has announced existing investor, Eurazeo, has increased its funding in the business, reflecting strong confidence in Sonaura’s execution, commercial traction, and rapidly expanding pipeline.

The additional investment follows strong commercial performance, including signing Power Purchase Agreements (PPA) across multiple sectors such as automotive, cold storage, and consumables manufacturing, and expanding Sonaura’s pipeline to over 3GWp of projects. This marks a significant step forward in scaling both the company’s platform and its international footprint.

The additional funding will support accelerated project development and continued investment in Sonaura’s platform, including further development of its pipeline.

“We are delighted to deepen our partnership with Eurazeo,” said Ed Pateman-Jones, CEO of Sonaura. “Their decision to increase their investment is a strong endorsement of the progress we are making and the opportunity ahead. It enables us to build on our momentum and continue delivering high-impact projects for our clients.”

Sonaura is preparing for a larger fundraising round, which is scheduled to close in Q3 2026, focused on construction funding, further pipeline development, and platform growth.

“We are pleased to continue supporting Sonaura as it scales its platform and project pipeline,” said Pierre Devillard, Partner at Eurazeo.

“The team has demonstrated strong execution and a clear ability to deliver against meaningful milestones, positioning the business well for its next phase of growth,” said Matthieu Bonamy, Partner at Eurazeo.
